Double fault hands double break to De Minaur!

Djokovic with a poor service game to fall to 0-40, and though he saves the first break point, he loses the next on a double fault!

With that, De Minaur has a double break and leads 4-1 in this first set.

Look, there’s a long way to go, but I’ll say this: the commentators at the BBC were very dismissive of De Minaur before this match – too much so, in my opinion.

Djokovic gets on the board with comfortable hold of serve

A nerve-settler for Novak? He records a fairly easy hold of serve, getting on the board at 1-2.

That said, De Minaur follows up with a hold to 15. No nerves in the Australian, it seems.

De Minaur battles to hold serve

Djokovic races to 0-30, courtesy of a couple of errors from De Minaur.

Will the seven-time champ break back at once? He forces De Minaur into another high volley on the backhand, but this time the Aussie gets enough power on it to beat Djokovic. 15-30.

A longer rally ensues, with Djokovic ultimately snatching at a backhand and putting it in the net. 30-30.

Game point to De Minaur, who puts a backhand right on the inside tramline, before Djokovic’s reply floats long. 40-30.

Deuce! Djokovic with some calm volleying. And now break point, after De Minaur whips a forehand wide.

Gone begging! Djokovic leans back and sends a forehand just long. Deuce again.

And eventually De Minaur gets over the line…

Break of serve! De Minaur strikes in first game

A long rally at 15-15 ends with the Serb slicing a backhand into the net, and De Minaur might get a look at an early break… 15-30.

Djokovic pulls it back to 30-30, though, with a backhand pass after forcing De Minaur into a very high backhand volley.

Well, a double fault from Djoker gives De Minaur an early break point now…

Taken! A battle of sliced backhands ends with Djokovic trying to change tack and fire a forehand into the corner, but he shoots long!

Attention turns to Novak Djokovic vs Alex de Minaur

Okay! We’ll move away from Cilic vs Cobolli, heading to Centre Court where Djokovic takes on De Minaur.

This could be an interesting test for Djokovic, who is seeking a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon crown, as he takes on the 11th seed from Australia.

Huge hitting from Cilic, but he misfires on a firehand meant for the corner. Bad miss… 4-4.

But the former finalist gets to 6-4, earning his third and fourth set points of this frame…

And he only needs one! Cobolli double faults!

Marin Cilic on verge of exit as Flavio Cobolli continues fine form

Cobolli, in a fourth-round match at a grand slam for the first time, looks very comfortable at this level.

He serves out the second set, and is just one frame from the quarter-finals…
