Transfer deadline day live: Guehi to Liverpool blow, Isak medical, Man Utd striker deal, Arsenal updates

Manchester United made their own move for a goalkeeper last night, with Senne Lammens brought in to compete with Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir in a problem position fro Ruben Amorim.

The transfer window may be shut in the Premier League but there are still a few administrative bits to be done. Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to be confirmed as a Manchester City player in a little while, with Ederson now officially a Fenerbahce employee. It feels a strangely low-key end to the Brazilian’s eight years with the club – his was a transformative tenure between the sticks for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Liverpool also looked for a long time like they would be snaring Marc Guehi in a major double deal – only for Crystal Palace to seemingly renege on the agreement at the last moment:
