Kachanov is through! He beats Poland’s Majchrzak in straight sets, in just one hour and 46 minutes.

Taylor Fritz or Jordan Thompson will be next for the 17th seed in the quarter-final; they square off next.

Majchrzak will move into the top 100 despite that defeat, though, and he played really well in moments.

Thankfully Kachanov is okay, and he rallies well to ultimately break!
