Fundora and Tszyu first met in March of last year putting on a fight of the year contender that was dubbed the bloodiest fight of the year.
In the fight, Tszyu suffered a shock split-decision loss after Sebastian Fundora stepped in on short notice.
The 30-year-old star suffered a horror cut which caused a blood-soaked battle in the ring – Tszyu has maintained that an elbow caused the cut.
Since their violent first encounter, Tszyu has stepped into the ring twice, suffering a TKO loss to Bakhram Murtazaliev before bouncing back with a TKO win over Joseph Spencer.
Meanwhile, Fundora successfully defended both his WBC and WBO super-welterweight titles, stopping Chordale Booker by TKO.
But to make the Tszyu rematch happen, Fundora has been stripped of the WBO belt and will now put just the WBC title on the line this weekend.
