‘60: Ndiaye has his head in his hands as he makes contact with a lovely cross but to no avail.

‘59: Fernandez whips in a free-kick. Khusanov and Guehi are both there but it runs wide before either can make contact.

‘57: Ndiaye has single-handedly revived City and the volume in the Etihad has rocketed. He flies down the left and has Marquinhos beat but a close-range attempt is hastily parried by Safonov and the danger eventually cleared.

‘55: PSG looked absolutely imperious in the first half but City are running rampant here – although not with as many goals to show for it as they should have. Semenyo wastes a glorious chance, then with the next attack clatters the woodwork, before Haaland makes a hash of the rebound.

‘53: Oh my word, a cross finds Ndiaye; he gets in a bit of a tangle but eventually knocks it down but his point-blank attempt is straight at Safonov!

But that wave of pressure pays off now as Ndiaye crosses in, and Haaland flicks a glancing header into the back of the net! Safonov gets a hand to it but can’t do anything about it.

Fernandez’s delivery from the resulting corner is deep; Gvardiol heads it from the far post but it’s straight into Safonov’s arms.
