Nasreddine Nabi has put a unique perspective on Kaizer Chiefs’ season. Fair to say, it’s been a mixed bag.

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi isn’t dwelling on the club’s failure to finish inside the top eight places.

“I’m not going to be influenced by today’s result and undermine what the team has won this season,” he told SuperSport TV.

“FIFA recognises two champions, the one who wins the league and the one who wins the cup.

“I think nobody can undermine what the team has done this season, they won a cup when we were 10 years without a trophy. But for me it’s not even about the 10 years, for me it’s winning an official title from FIFA,” Nabi added.

“On Friday, we had a conversation with the chairman, and we know exactly what needs to be done in terms of players,” he said as per FARPost.

“I will not say how many or which kind of players we need, but the recruitment department is working very hard, and everyone knows the needs for the team.

Mayele addresses Kaizer Chiefs chatter

Pyramids FC marksman Fiston Mayele is a wanted man. He could still end this season as a champion of Africa. His team meets Sundowns in the second leg of the Champions League final with the aggregate score locked at 1-1.
