Weigh-ing Game

This fight will be fought at Cruiserweight with Paul coming down in weight since his fight with Mike Tyson.

Chavez Jr won his world title at middleweight and he fought the latter part of his career at super-middle and light-heavyweight, but his win over Uriah Hall did come at cruiser.

Paul has lost 27lbs since his big Tyson fight, which was at heavyweight.

He has recently said he won’t be going up to that weight anymore because he got ‘too fat’.

SunSport spoke with his personal chef, Eric Triliegi, to help Paul come down to the right weight for this fight.

Holm and hosed

UFC legend Holm returns to boxing with a victory after over a DECADE out of the ring.

She takes a 100-90 unanimous decision against Yolanda Vega over ten rounds in the final bout of the preliminary card.

PPV is about to get underway – but don’t worry we have you covered right here.

Problem for the Problem Child?

Unlike Mike Tyson, who is now approaching 60, Chavez Jr’s prime is not a thing of the distance past.

He was active up until 2021 and although he has only fought once since then – a win over former UFC star Uriah Hall in July 2024 – Chavez Jr has looked sharp, fast and skilled in pre-fight training videos.

That could all be smoke and mirrors, of course, but Jake Paul could have a real problem on his hands.

The former YouTuber remains serious about his goals to fight and win a boxing world title and this is a further step towards legitimacy.

His fans – and haters – will be keeping a careful eye on this one.
