Alexander Isak’s penalty rescued Newcastle a 1-1 draw at Brighton, but it still means the Magpies drop vital points in the race for Champions League.
Eddie Howe’s side remain fourth on 63 points, but it means Chelsea, who have 60 points, would go above them with a win over Liverpool today.
Chelsea go to Newcastle next Sunday.
