From the corner, Kepa rushes out, flaps and gets nowhere near the ball which bounces through to the back post where Rodrigo Riquelme is unmarked, can chest down and then lash home before a defender gets across.

Awful by Kepa but the marking in the box was equally dire. Poor all round by the best defence in the Premier League and they deservedly trail.

First real chance for Betis as Pablo Garcia cuts inside from the right and shoots at goal. It’s not hugely convincing from Kepa as he pushes the ball straight out in front of him even though it’s a relatively comfortable stop and Arsenal scramble it behind for a corner.

Interestingly, Calafiori playing in a very attacking role. He’s almost drifting into the No 10 position from left-back, as Arsenal drop into a three at the back.
