Nico reveals why he said no to Gunners
Nico Williams was hot priority for a lot of clubs following a stunning EUROs campaign, including Arsenal who desire more firepower in attack.
Williams, a product of the Bilbao campaign, opted to stay at his boyhood club and has being talked about the decision to France Football.
“This relationship we have at the heart of the club is incredible. Everyone respects everyone else, which is incredible,” said the 22-year-old winger.
“This atmosphere, I’ll never have it anywhere else. I decided to stay because of that. I took the decision I thought was the right one. I’m happy, and I’m trying to do my best.”
S-Mart price must be right
Gabriel Martinelli could be sold this summer – but only if Arsenal receive something like £70million.
That’s the claim from various reports – as boss Mikel Arteta values the Brazilian winger highly.
Martinelli is seen as an important player by the Gunners’ manager Mikel Arteta.
But injuries have plagued his season so far.
Gunners ‘closing on Osimhen’
Top of the transfer speculation tonight is the claim Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal for Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been trailed by Prem giants for at least a year.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with Osimhen.
But reports in Nigeria claim the Gunners have agreed a £62million fee to bring in in the 26-year-old this summer.
