Ursu barks at Vaughan’s corner
Clean cross by Vaughan, one of his better shots of the fight, and his corner loves that.
But Ursu comes back with a fantastic combination, mixing in uppercuts! The Moldovan native shouts something at Vaughan’s corner, who have been making snarky comments throughout the fight.
Vaughan lands a shot to the back of the head, it seems, before a grazing forearm. He’s warned by the ref.
Vaughan goes from the body to head well with a trio of hooks. He lands a couple of straight shots but is also countered.
Ursu flicks out at him after the bell. It’s heating up.

Fast pace continues
Vaughan already looks a little marked up around his left eye. Ursu is hopping about. When he throws, he’s throwing snapping shots.
Twice he tags Ursu with slick uppercuts as the challenger tries to trap him against the ropes.
Ursu wipes his forehead; there’s a little blood there, but it might be from Vaughan.
Replays show an exchange in which Ursu pummeled Vaughan with two left hooks while essentially holding his arm.

Fast start to Ursu vs Vaughan
The speed of the smaller men always stands out when they follow the heavyweights. Not that welterweights are especially small, mind – and both men here are in fantastic shape.
Vaughan is throwing a little too wide when he lets his hands go, whereas Ursu is a bit tighter, but still: decent work from Vaughan as the first round wears on.
He tees off on the body of Ursu in the corner in an eye-catching moment.

Jolly and Vianello draw!
Guido Vianello and Moses Jolly fight to draw (76-76)
The referee is scoring this bout, and she calls it a draw! No problem with that, personally, but there are some boos around the O2.

Vianello’s eye a problem?
A ringside doctor, at the request of the ref, is checking Vianello’s eyes. His left looks somewhat closed, but Jolly’s own left eye looks swollen, to be fair.
The seventh round resumes.

Vianello and Jolly still slugging away
Six rounds in, and the pace is barely slowing. There’s a great example late in this frame, as both men land time and again in a busy exchange. Neither has looked like going over, mind.

Heavyweight David Price predicts main event
“I’m hoping Hrgovic gives Itauma some questions to answer and gives him some kind of crisis situation,” Price told BetSelect.co.uk, “so we can see how he reacts and recovers in that situation. I think he needs that.
“Realistically, I think in rounds eight or nine Itauma will either stop Hrgovic on his feet, or his corner will pull him out of the fight.”

Jolly coming on strong?
Jolly starts by apologising to the referee for his holding in the previous round.
He gets right after Vianello in this round, though. With a step-in jab kickstarting a positive spell.
Vianello hits the canvas, but it’s ruled a slip.
The ref pauses the action again to tell the heavyweights not to lead with their heads.
Vianello is a little bruised under the eyes. Jolly swarms him in the corner, pouring on shots but also eating a counter.
