The Fiji Kulas have officially left our shores today, carrying the hopes of the nation as they head to New Zealand for the final stage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ Oceania Qualifiers.
Four teams remain in contention — Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and American Samoa — with the semi-finals set to take place this Sunday, 12 April, at FMG Stadium in Hamilton.
The Kulas will face hosts New Zealand in what promises to be a tough but exciting clash at 4:00 pm NZT. Earlier in the day, Papua New Guinea will take on American Samoa at 12:00 pm NZT.
A victory for Fiji would see the Kulas advance to the final on Wednesday, 15 April at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland, where a historic FIFA Women’s World Cup spot in Brazil 2027 will be on the line.
Even the runner-up will still have a pathway, earning a second chance through the intercontinental play-offs later this year.
