Ex-Man Utd ace’s lawsuit
Former Manchester United wonderkid Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is suing a doctor for £7million over an “unnecessary” operation.
Ebanks-Blake went under the knife after breaking his leg back in 2013.
The retired striker never fully recovered from the injury as he did not return to top-flight football after the op.
The 39-year-old believes his surgeon Prof James Calder performed an “unnecessary” and “destructive” operation on his ankle.
As a result, the former England Under-21 international says that the procedure caused his top-flight career to end prematurely.
Man Utd’s Mbeumo stance
Manchester United are refusing to budge on their valuation of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo after the club increased his asking price.
United have seen two bids for Mbeumo, the latest of which was worth £62.5million, rejected by the Bees.
Despite the winger making it clear that his desire is to move to Old Trafford this summer, Brentford have held firm on their valuation.
According to The Guardian, at the end of June Man Utd director of football, Jason Wilcox, believed a package of £65m would be enough to strike a deal for the Cameroon international
But since then, Brentford have raised their price closer to £70m.
However, the Red Devils are intent on not being pressured into paying over the odds and not being held to ransom.
The Brentford Community Stadium outfit view their position on the 26-year-old as firm, as despite his contract expiring next summer they have an optional one-year extension clause.
Alejandro Garnacho interest
Aston Villa, Chelsea and Tottenham are all “monitoring” Manchester United ace Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho is currently training away from United’s first team with four other players – Jadon Sancho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford.
According to The Mail, Villa have “registered an interest” in the 21-year-old.
The winger has also been linked with former club Atletico Madrid, but the same source claim he wants to stay in the Premier League.
Man Utd want to sell him to generate maximum profit under financial fair play rules as a homegrown talent, but are happy for the rest of the other outcasts to go out on loan.

Vlahovic ‘offered’ to Man Utd
Manchester United were given the chance to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic this summer.
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Vlahovic has been “offered” to United as a move away from Juve looks increasingly likely.
The striker is out of contract with the Bianconeri at the end of next season.
Nevertheless, Romano claims Man Utd are not in talks with the Serie A giants over a deal for the Serbia international.
However, a move to Old Trafford is not being completely ruled out.
Brentford ‘raise Mbeumo price’
Manchester United’s pursuit of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo has stalled after his club reportedly upped their valuation to closer to £70million.
United minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to rate Mbeumo at £65m and will not be pushed into paying more than his club’s valuation.
Man Utd’s latest bid for the winger was worth up to £62.5m and was swiftly rejected by the Bees.
The Cameroon international has already told Brentford he would like to join the Red Devils amid interest from Tottenham this summer.
