Arsenal line up Eberechi Eze bid as Viktor Gyokeres talks continue

Arsenal are working on a payment structure for a bid that could allow them to sign Eberechi Eze without a substantial sale this summer.

Mikel Arteta went into the window with a budget for Martin Zubimendi and a forward – currently expected to be Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres – as well as one or two less expensive signings like Brentford’s Christian Norgaard, with any further signings expected to be funded by outgoings to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability (PSR) rules. Arsenal are nevertheless serious about doing Eze and this summer, and there is a hope that a suitable deal can be worked out.

Crystal Palace want ex-AC Milan star

Crystal Palace are keen to add to their full-back ranks this summer and former AC Milan star Davide Calabria is top of their list.

That’s according to Sky Italy, who say that Palace are targeting the 28-year-old, who was on loan at Bologna last season, while Spanish sides Celta Vigo, Real Betis and Mallorca are also being linked.

Calabria is out of contract, so the seven-cap Italy international would be available on a free.

Bournemouth chase Czechia star

There’s been a lot of outgoings, especially in defence, for Bournemouth this summer but a potential incoming is on the cards.

The Cherries have made initial enquiries for attacking Czech midfielder Pavel Sulc, according to The Mirror.

The 24-year-old looks set to leave Viktoria Plzen this summer after hitting 20 goals and registering 15 assists in 54 appearances in all competitions last season.

Plzen are yet to receive any formal offers for Sulc, who is in the final year of his contract, but Bournemouth are interested with Championship side Middlesbrough another club being linked.

Corriere dello Sport add that Juve are willing to allow Douglas Luiz to move in the opposite direction to get the deal done

New goalkeeper for Lees?

It appears that Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri will be leaving the French side after their relegation for financial irregularities.

L’Equipe says Lyon will bank €23m (almost £20m) for Perri, who has been linked with Monaco but will apparently be heading to the Premier League instead.

Leeds, who could really do with an upgrade on current No1, the hapless Ilan Meslier, appear to be that club as they look to assemble a squad capable of avoiding relegation

PSG join Arsenal in pursuit of Rodrygo

We’ve known about Arsenal’s interest in signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid this summer but that might have just become a little bit harder.

ESPN Brasil are now reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have joined Arsenal in the race for the Brazilian forward.

Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr have also been linked and the Gunners are apparently not interested in getting involved in a bidding war – with the likes of Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke as alternatives.

West Ham tell Tottenham price for Mohammed Kudus

Spurs had a £50m bid for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus rejected over the weekend and now the Hammers have let their bitter rivals know the price they’re after.

They want a guaranteed £60m in order to sell, according to talkSPORT, and last’s week’s £50m bid actually had clauses which would only be triggered if they win the Premier League or Champions League.

West Ham (rightly) don’t consider that realistic and are eager to get Chelsea involved in a bidding war. Other reports suggest Kudus is only interested in a move to Spurs.
