PREMIER LEAGUE action is BACK – with TWO live matches on tonight.

Manchester City are hosting Arsenal as the Premier League is set to return with a bang, with Aston Villa vs Sheffield United due to kick off the big restart.

These two matches are games in hand from earlier in the campaign and once they are all complete, every Prem team will have nine games remaining.

What time is the first Premier League game due to start?

  • The blockbuster clash between Man City and Arsenal is set to follow straight on after Aston Villa against the Blades.
  • That opening game will take place at Villa Park on Wednesday June 17 at 6pm (UK time) which is 1pm EST.
  • The game is due to be played behind closed doors, as is every other Premier League game making it sombre restart.
