TYSON FURY took part in an emotional exchange with a fan who has stopped drinking thanks to his lockdown workouts.
Every day at 9am Tyson, along with his wife Paris, put on a live gym session on Instagram from their Morecambe home.
They then pick people at random to chat to, and Tuesday’s chat was an inspiring one.
The woman who joined Team Fury admitted to having alcohol issues and how the exercise classes had helped her quit the drink.
After connecting, she said: “Ah Tyson, thank you so much for picking me.
“I love you two so much, honestly.
“I was drinking every day for ages and then I started your workout one morning and I haven’t had a drink for ten weeks.”
Back in 2016 Fury spiralled into depression, alcohol and drug abuse not long after beating Wladimir Klitschko to become unified heavyweight champion of the world.
It saw his weight balloon up to 27stone and his boxing career appeared all-but over.
But one of the most sensational comebacks in sport was completed in February this year when he beat Deontay Wilder to become WBC champ.
Through it all Tyson has been supported by his wife Paris, who shared her own experiences of alcohol issue.
On the video, Paris said: “I’ve watched it, I’ve watched it personally.
“We’ve got experience in that.”
TYSON’S MENTAL HEALTH BATTLES
Tyson added: “Fantastic stuff. It is hard and you’ve done fantastic for not having a drink for ten weeks.
“Absolutely well done, congratulations.”
The woman concluded: “Thank you, I couldn’t have done it without you two.”
Earlier this month SunSport reported on Fury being reunited with the man whose life he saved last year after talking him out of suicide.
The Gypsy King explained last December how a stranger left him “freaked out” by knocking on his door to tell him he was about to take his own life.
But Fury stepped in, took him on a three-mile run and left the man feeling “as happy as Larry”.
As luck would have it, Fury bumped into the same man entirely by chance when going for a walk on the beach in Morecambe.
He spoke with a man called Colby when he realises the fan may be battling personal demons and offers some inspirational words of advice.
