‘’Fiji FA is committed to supporting its players in their pursuit of excellence on the global stage, and Waranaivalu’s nomination is a shining example of what is possible through hard work and determination.’’
Waranaivalu expressed his deep gratitude for the support he received throughout his career.
Currently, at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, where he is pursuing his OFC C-License Senior Futsal Coaching Course, Waranaivalu took a moment to reflect on his achievements and the journey so far.
“I am truly thankful to the almighty for His continued support in my journey,” said Waranaivalu.
“This recognition is a result of not only my hard work but also the support from my family, coaches, and the Fiji Football Association. I wouldn’t be here without them, and I am humbled to represent Fiji on the global stage.”
The Rewa FC midfielder’s recognition as one of the shortlisted players for the 2024 Beach Soccer Stars follows his remarkable performances in the sport and a stellar 2024 season. He also earned the prestigious title of Extra Supermarket Fiji FA Footballer of the Year, underscoring his excellence on the pitch.
His dedication to football, beach soccer and futsal highlights his versatility as an athlete. As he continues his coaching education at the Fiji FA Academy, Waranaivalu’s commitment to improving his skills both as a player and a coach reflects his ambition to give back to the sport that has given him so much.
“I’m excited for what lies ahead and the opportunity to continue learning,” Waranaivalu added.
“This shortlisting is a reminder of what is possible with faith, hard work, and support from all corners.”
The Worldwide Beach Soccer Stars 2024 award ceremony will be determined by votes from coaches and captains of teams that have competed in major international beach soccer events. As Waranaivalu makes his mark on the global stage, Fiji FA continues to support and celebrate his growth both on and off the field.
