Templegate’s best bets for the meeting at Gulfstream Park on Sky Sports Racing on Sunday

GRIMPANTE takes a big drop in class here and that should make all the difference. She had to come wide when finishing a still decent fifth last time at Tampa. She likes this turf track and the yard has a good record when easing its runners in grade.

Sunday Scheming has to rate a danger on this debut on grass for Wesley Ward. Her workout times have been good ahead of this contest.

Subtle Joy has plenty of placed form and is good enough to hit the frame despite a modest effort here last time out.

FOLLOWHISFOOTSTEPS came back from a break to finish an excellent second here, clocking a fair speed figure in the process. He was well backed ahead of that runner-up effort and saves his best for this distance. The jockey booking is significant for this stable.

Luckytobeinamerica is taking a fair drop in grade today and should be suited by going up in distance. He has been tackling stronger rivals in turf sprints so will find this easier.

Strategic Outlook didn’t get home over a mile last time but led for much of the way which bodes well over this distance.

VICTORY TOWN should be too good for these rivals after a good third in a more valuable contest last time out. That was all the better because he was coming back from a break and has a lot more to offer on just his fifth lifetime run.

Bahamian Beat had to go the long way around when fifth on debut here way back in August. His trainer is a dab hand with horses coming back from a break so the time off is a positive rather than a negative.

Whiskey Sunrise is another to consider coming back from a long rest.

THE GIRL HERSELF is bred to be much better than this class and comes from the top trainer in Todd Pletcher. She is sure to be well worked ahead of this debut and can get off to a winning start.

Pilot Episode looks to the best of those with racecourse experience. She improved a good deal from her debut to finish second here last time in what looked a decent race.

Saratoga Affair is another very nicely bred newcomer who could make a splash for a big yard so keep an eye on the betting.

HEIR BALL is a consistent performer who comes here on the back of two wins and two places from his past four runs. She has clocked some decent speed figures in the process and saves her best for this distance.

Blue Magic got no luck in running at all when second in a better race than this last time. She should be right in the firing line again granted a clearer run.

Speed Star is coming back from a break but is a regular in stronger races than this and is another to note.

PRIMACY (NAP) looks the best bet of the night after a highly encouraging second on her debut here last time out. She should really have won but left her challenge for a few strides too many. You would expect improvement from that first outing and she can get off the mark.

Prairie Wings is well bred and cost plenty. She showed promise when second over shorter last time and is another with more to offer.

Risk Model wasn’t asked too many questions when hitting the places on debut and is another improver.

COMBINATION has won all three starts this season and she has every chance of making it four in a row in this modest grade. She battled on well to score latest and this trip suits well.

Karen’s Cove ran well for a long way against better horses than this last time out. She was caught late on but should be able to sustain her challenge better in this grade.

Desert General isn’t getting any younger but has recent placed form over course and distance. She cannot be written off.

BOSS LIFE doesn’t have the best of draws but that shouldn’t matter over this extended mile trip. He came off just second best in a real battle last time and a repeat would put him on the premises again.

Sir Chubby may have needed his first run after a break when third last time. He is another going over slightly further and that should enhance his chances.

Budget Buster drops in grade on the back of some solid form in better company and won’t be far away again.

CORY GAL couldn’t have won any more impressively last time and deserves to take on this stronger company. She had five lengths in hand crossing the line and it could have been more. This trip suits well and she looks the one to beat again.

Bion Magic is coming back from a break having shown plenty of promise as a juvenile. She has placed form in stronger company than this and comes from leading connections who should have her fit to go.

How Sweep It Is went from the front when second in a similar race latest and is another contender.

SIR SEAMUS didn’t have to be at his best when winning last time and can follow up in this better company. He had plenty in hand and should be able to reproduce that form in these similar conditions.

Bold Paynter has been consistent for a long time with a run of fourth places after a clocking a fast time when winning here before Christmas. A repeat of that form would put him right in the mix.

Machiavelli has been off for a little while but was an impressive winner when last seen so can’t be ignored with so few miles on the clock.

GUACAMOLE didn’t last the trip when fading into third over a mile last time out. She will be much happier sprinting again and the yard does well with horses taking a drop in distance.

Naked Avenger is interesting making her seasonal comeback given her strong two-year-old form in New York. She has a Listed win under her belt and was second at that level at Belmont last time out. That was back in October so she may need this comeback.

Baccarat Fashion was a fair third latest and could hit the frame again.

BLAZING DESIRE looks the one to beat taking a fair drop in class. She has been in the winner’s enclose twice in her past five runs and hasn’t been far away in the other three. The booking of top jockey Luis Saez looks a wise move.

My GPS is back on turf after a good run on the dirt last time. He should find it easier to make a bold bid from the front over this distance.

Keepsakekitten has been in good form over this distance and can’t be ruled out despite going up in grade.
