IT’S a blockbuster Saturday of racing and Templegate has some strong fancies lined up.

ANMAAT (3.40 Newmarket, nap)
He looks a handicapper to follow after his easy win at Doncaster earlier this month. He travelled nicely before showing a nice turn of foot to settle the race quickly.
That was just his sixth run so there should be a lot more to come carrying a 4lb penalty. Trainer Owen Burrows is in good form and his three-year-old handles any ground.
PERFECT POWER (3.00 Newmarket, nb)
He was already a Group 2 winner from the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot but he left that form behind with a superb effort to take the Prix Morny at Deauville last time.
That was a deserved success after he had shocking luck in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood. He comes from behind, so may need a little good fortune in the run, but he’s the best horse in the race.
JAWWAAL (2.40 Haydock, treble)
He is a big winner waiting to happen after a pair of cracking efforts in strong company.
He went close in a big-field handicap at York before coming from a long way back to be beaten a length here 21 days ago. He’s off the same mark and likes today’s trip so this is another good chance.
