Swamy plans ahead | FijiFootball.com.fj

Moshins Insulation Nadroga FC coach Kamal Swamy has set up a plan for the Stallion as they go into the few rounds of the Digicel Premier League.

“We are still not out of the woods yet and we need to really work hard to survive in the top division,” said Swamy.

“I am happy the players are progressing well as seen in some of the recent games,”

Swamy said the players have adapted well in his style of coaching.

“It just a few weeks ago I have taken the appointment with Nadroga FC and I am really happy that the players are gelling well and the results prove it so far,” said Swamy

Nadroga will face Rewa this weekend and Swamy believes it will not be an easy clash.

“I am sure firecrackers will explode when we will play Rewa as they are a very good team with some national team players,” said former Ba coach

“The Delta Tigers play a very quality football and for sure they will give us a tough time but we will work on our plan to counter them at home,”

He says transitioning is one area they’ll need to work on.

“We are still undefeated and four points clear from relegation which is a positive sign and let’s see what we can do in the next three games. We need to work on the transition phase and we are very slow in transition.”

Since Swamy took over the Stallion, they have won 2-1 against Navua, drew 1-1 against Nadi, 2-2 against Suva, they drew 1-1 against Ba, and nil-all draw against Labasa.

After the Rewa match, Nadroga will face Lautoka, and Navua.
