Rewa maintains lead |

Rewa maintains the lead in the Digicel Premier League point’s table ladder after the end of six rounds of competition on Sunday.

The Delta Tigers sit on top with 14 points with a better goal difference with Suva who also have 14 points.

In the top of the table clash, last Sunday Rewa and Suva played to a 2-all draw. It was a thriller match as Suva took an early lead with the boots of former Rewa rep Ramzan Khan but minutes later former Suva rep Ivan Kumar replied back.

Again in the dying stage of the match, Merrel Nand extended Suva’s lead but it was cut short two minutes later by striker Abbu Zaid.

Taiilevu Naitasiri remains on third place despite going down 0-1 against an improved Nadroga side.

Substitute Ronesh Kumar scored the lone goal of the match in the 82nd minute.

Tailevu Naitasiri has seven points with two wins and a draw while Nadroga moves up to eighth place with six points.

Nasinu moves up to fourth place seven points while Navua remains on the seventh position with six points.

Ba is on the fifth spot, Nadi on the sixth place while Lautoka after playing two matches is on the ninth position and Labasa is on the bottom of the table with two points.
