Xisco Munoz, Steve Bruce, Nuno Espirito Santo, Daniel Farke and Dean Smith have all been relieved of their duties just 11 games into the 2021-22 season.

And the Manchester United boss is the most likely to follow in their footsteps.

Solskjaer’s tenure is reportedly hanging by a thread after a series of disappointing results, including defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Red Devils are in sixth position having taken 17 points from a possible 33 and sit nine behind leaders Chelsea with a lowly +2 goal difference.

SunSport understand that an emergency board meeting has taken place at Old Trafford with possible replacements discussed.

Next Premier League manager to leave

Sky Bet odds

  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – 2/5
  • Claudio Ranieri – 6/1
  • Rafael Benitez – 6/1
  • Marcelo Bielsa – 14/1
  • Ralph Hasenhuttl – 14/1
  • Brendan Rodgers – 16/1
  • Graham Potter – 25/1
  • Thomas Frank – 25/1
  • Bruno Lage – 28/1
  • Eddie Howe – 33/1

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is their first choice and is believed to be house-hunting in Cheshire.

Watford’s Claudio Ranieri is second in the betting market at odds of 6/1.

Ranieri replaced Xisco on October 4 but has managed just one victory in four matches for the trigger-happy Hornets.

Rafa Benitez is also offered at 6s with Everton struggling for results ahead of a difficult run of fixtures.

The injury-plagued Toffees are winless in their last five and play Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester in their next seven outings.

Marcelo Bielsa and Ralph Hasenhuttl are locked together at 14/1 with Rodgers further behind at 16s.
