The Kaiviti Silktails will continue their preparations for the Ron Massey Cup.
This is after the New South Wales Rugby League Board has agreed this afteroon to suspend all major NSWRL competitions and postpone all Community Rugby League.
This in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All community Rugby League are postponed until May 1st while all major NSWRL competitions are suspended until May 31st.
NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden says the recommendation covers all Rugby League matches, trials, courses and other club activities.
Fiji National Rugby League Chairman Viliame Naupoto says they are closely monitoring the situation.
“We continue but really assessing as the situation unfold for COVID 19 so for the time being all our home and away games have been cancelled for the time being we’ll assess as the situation unfoldS”.
NRL’s 13 major competitions that started last weekend have been suspended until the 3rd of May.
The Kaiviti Silktails were supposed to play GB Wolves in Lautoka this weekend but the game has been cancelled.
