The Nasinu football side is not taking any chances as they prepare for a tough encounter against Labasa this Sunday.
Almost tasting victory in last week’s game against Rewa, coach Tagi Vonolagi says they’ve reflect on their mistakes and are working to address them during training.
Vonolagi says playing against a champion team like Labasa, Nasinu cannot afford to be making mistakes.
“We need to work on the concentration of players and we need to sharpen up fitness wise, position wise during defense, how to defend well against an attacking team.”
Nasinu will have to sharpen up on all areas in attack and defense if they seek to defeat the soccer giants.
Labasa currently sits at 4th place after round two of VPL while Nasinu is at last place having not won any games so far.
The Nasinu-Labasa clash kicks off at 3pm at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Also at 3pm on Sunday Navua will take on Suva at the Uprising Sports Centre and Nadi will host Rewa at Prince Charles Park.
