Nadi under pressure | FijiFootball.com.fj

The Esy Kool Nadi Football side will not be leaving any stones unturned before they take on the Unique Rubber Stamp Suva FC in the Digicel Premier League this Sunday.

Head coach, Shalen Lal, said he needed to rectify a lot of areas.

“A disappointing result but better performance from last week,” Lal said after its 1-3 loss to the Viti Water Flow Lautoka FC on Sunday.

“This is what best we can do in the field with these boys.

“Missing seven players for this game but surely, we will not blame that because we also had chances to score but then we missed it.

“Maybe there are more things that we need to rectify especially in terms of our finishing and we will see what best we can do.”

He said probably the Jetsetters were not able to match a strong Blues outfit.

“Lautoka had a very good set of boys this season and to match them maybe we were not there in this game but then we fielded some new players and they adjusted well.

“Hats off to Lautoka, they played well.”

Lal advised the fans to continue supporting and they will regroup to produce results.

“Under pressure right now because we have lost twice.

“We will prepare well and I would ask the Nadi fans to support the team at this time because they have been playing well. It’s just the results not coming and I know everybody is wanting the results.

“We will try to regroup and definitely we will produce results.”
