Most teams don’t want Marist 7s fees refund

Most teams confirmed for the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s don’t want their registration fees refunded.

This has been confirmed by Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram.

The Marist 7s was called off yesterday after there was a confirmed COVID 19 case in the country.

Most of the teams want organizers to keep their registration fees so they can confirm their spots once the all clear is given by government.

Tikaram says they are the tournament to a new date subject to the government all clearance of when they can have an event as big as the Marist.


“We’ve spoken to all the teams the teams don’t want a refund they want to keep their money there but that’s secondary finance is not the issue for us right now right now we need to address the issue of how we change our lifestyle through good personal hygiene practices’.

68 teams were confirmed for the Marist 7s.
