The second round of Digicel Premier League resumes this weekend at four different venues.
On Saturday at 1.30pm Labasa will host Nasinu at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Churchill Park will host a double header fixture on Sunday in which at 1pm RC Manubhai Ba FC will take on Rewa FC and at 3pm Lautoka will host Ram’s Cleaning Services Suva FC.
Nadroga will play Navua at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Sunday at 3pm and Tailevu Naitasiri will battle All in One Builders Nadi FC at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori at 3pm as well.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said fans could expect more thrilling and exciting encounters in the second round.
“All the teams have been preparing well for the second round of the competition and will be out to prove a lot,”
“Every match will be important for the ten teams in the competition and we can imagine how the completion will be,” said Pal
Meanwhile, Suva tops the Digicel Premier League points table undefeated in the first round with 23 points.
Rewa is on second spot with 21 points while Ba sits on third position with 18 points.
Lautoka is on fourth place with 16 points while Nadi is fifth spot with 13 points.
Nadroga is on sixth place with nine points and Labasa sits on seventh place with eight points.
Tailevu Naitasiri, Navua and Nasinu are all on seven points but better goal difference puts Tailevu Naitasiri on eighth place, Navua on ninth and Nasinu at the bottom of the table.
