Ivan Perisic looks set to become Tottenham Hotspur’s first summer signing under Antonio Conte as the Italian goes to work rebuilding the club’s squad.
The Croatian, who won the league under Conte at Inter Milan in 2020/21., is said to have stayed at Spurs overnight on Sunday in view of completing his move to the north London club on Monday.
The Evening Standard reported that the player, who can play as a winger or left-wing back, will sign a two-year contract with Spurs on Monday.

Conte recently sought assurances from Spurs that they would back him adequately in the market, leading to a subsequent meeting that ended with the Italian committing to remain at Spurs for the forthcoming season.
The club also recently announced an injection of £150m into the club from Tottenham Hotspur Limited, with the north London side releasing a statement saying the money was to be invested ‘on and off the pitch’.
‘The equity injection provides the Premier League Club with greater financial flexibility and the ability to further invest on and off the pitch,’ they said.

It has been reported that Perisic will sign on terms amounting to around £98,000 a week, with Football.London suggesting his signing is in view of Conte believing Ryan Sessegnon, Tottenham’s left-wing back for the backend of the season, could turn into a star under his tutelage.
Perisic is an experienced head who has played for some of Europe’s top clubs as well as making an appearance in the World Cup final in 2018. England fans may not care to remember his equalising goal in the semi-finals of that particular tournament.
In addition to winning the league with Inter under Conte, the season prior Perisic was on-loan at Bayern Munich in the 2019/20 season and won his maiden Champions League title while there.
