The Digicel National Futsal League for the western division resumed at the Nadi Muslim College Futsal Court on Sunday.
A total of six exciting matches were played and are now set to roll every week.
Lautoka Futsal Coach, Wasim Kutty, said it was great to be back into the pitch after a lapse of six months.
“It’s been good to have started with Futsal once again as the players and fans had missed the opportunity to watch this beautiful game,” he said.
“Also was a good day for us as we managed to win both our games and secured six points.”
Kutty thanked the Fijian Government and Fiji FA for returning to play.
“We thank the Fijian Government and Fiji FA for getting us back to sports in a safe way.
