The Fiji FA Competitions & Club Licensing Workshop which was postponed in December 2020 due to TC YASA will now be held at Fiji FA Headquarters this weekend.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal says it is compulsory for all the district presidents & secretaries with their Women’s Football, Futsal, and Youth representatives to attend.
“The Workshop will start on Saturday 16/01/21 after the Fiji FA Council meeting at 11.00am where there will be need for all the districts futsal, youth and women’s representatives to attend together with their presidents and secretaries. “
“The program for Saturday will mainly be concentrated in the area of competitions and administration,”said Pal
“For Sunday the main topic for discussion will be Fiji FA Club Licensing and all the premier division district presidents and secretaries will be required to attend till 2pm.
Pal says views and contributions of all the premier division presidents and secretaries will be taken in doing the Fiji FA Club Licensing Regulations which will eventually make it compulsory for all the premier division clubs from July 2021 to be Club licensed.
“The workshop is very important as we have started our preparations for the 2021 season and all the stakeholders especially the District officials contributions are needed,” said Pal
Pal said a similar workshop will be held for the Northern districts a week later in Labasa.
