Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) President Mr. Rajesh Patel, Board Members and the coaching fraternity would like to congratulate Anginesh Prasad on the successful completion of the OFC B Licence.
Patel said this was a great achievement for Prasad.
“Anginesh have made Fiji proud in this Oceania coaching arena and I congratulate him for a job well done.
“He has been in our national age-group coaching panel previously and this achievement is surely a great boost to his coaching career,” Patel said.
Prasad, who is the Operations Manager of the P Meghji Group of Companies, started his coaching career in 2013 with Lautoka FC and won his first major title as a head coach in 2016 winning the Battle of Giants at Ratu Cakobau Park.
He was the assistant coach of Fiji U16 team for the Israel Tour as well as the Fiji U23 team for the OFC U23 Championship in 2019.
Prasad thanked Fiji FA for great opportunity.
“Firstly, I would like to thank the President Mr. Rajesh Patel for giving me an opportunity to participate in the B Licence course and I feel really happy to successfully complete this.
“I hope to learn more by observation through attachment with the National and Senior coaches, developing the youths to achieve Fiji FA philosophy and help the National and Local Teams to achieve professionalism through training programs, sessions, methodology, and mental toughness.
“Currently I am not engaged with any team so I am available to utilize my B Licence as per my above statement.”
