The pool draws for the 2022 Punjas Battle of the Giants Tournament will be held this Thursday at the Ocean Soap at Navutu Industrial in Lautoka.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed that only eight teams will participate in the tournament.
“We will only have eight teams in the BOG according to their ranking in the Digicel Premier League points table ladder,” said Pal
“As usual the pool will be drawn according to their seeding on the DPL points table,”
Pal also confirmed that some of the Digicel Women’s Super League matches will be played during the tournament.
“To give more exposure to our women footballers we will be setting up some DWSL fixtures during the BOG,”
The pool draws will be held at 11am.
The first round of the Punjas Battle of the Giants will be played from 26-228 August while the semi-finals and final will be a week later at the same venue.
