CELTIC legend Jackie McNamara has been rushed to hospital after a ‘bleed on the brain.’
The former Hoops captain is said to have collapsed on his doorstep after walking with his dog on Saturday.
And the 46-year-old is undergoing surgery in Hull after being transferred from a York hospital.
His former team-mate and dear friend John Hartson took to social media to confirm the news.
And sent his thoughts and prayers to Jackie’s wife Samantha and his children.
He wrote: “Worried sick for my former team-mate and great friend Jackie McNamara who collapsed at home on Saturday with a bleed on the brain.
“My thoughts are with his wife Samantha and the children 🙏🤞🤞🍀.”
Chris Sutton, Charlie Adam and Celtic also sent their well wishes online.
Celtic’s official twitter wrote: “The thoughts and prayers of everyone at #CelticFC are with Jackie and his family.”

Hoops fans also wished the former Scotland international a speedy recovery after hearing the news.
