Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League after losing 2-1 against Newcastle at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Callum Wilson scored in each half, his first goal coming from the penalty spot, to put Newcastle in a commanding position, but Burnley gave themselves hope when Maxwell Cornet fired home with 21 minutes left.
Mike Jackson’s side pushed for an equaliser, yet couldn’t find it, and with Leeds picking up a win at Brentford, the Clarets drop into the Championship.
