Brentford have not beaten Liverpool since November 1938 and their clash this evening will be the first time the two sides have gone head-to-head in the top flight since 1947.

They’ll be looking to continue their very strong start to the season with six wins out of seven in all competitions,
Their last competitive defeat came in the quarter-final of the Champions League in April when they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.
The Reds have also scored three goals in each of their last four games, which means it could be a difficult night in goal for David Raya, despite only conceding two goals in their five Prem games so far.
