Boulter vs Keys LIVE: French Open scores and updates before Draper in action

Novak Djokovic is out on court later than expected after an epic win for Artur Fils earlier, and the three-time French Open champion is off to a good start against Frenchman Corentin Moutet.

Despite being broken in the opening game of the match, Djokovic wins the opening set 6-3 on Court Suzanne-Lenglen. He had chances for the opening break in the second, but Moutet hangs on.

Better news for Cameron Norrie, however. He’s into the third round of the French Open after polishing off a straight-sets win over Federico Gomez. After a close opener, Norrie runs away with a 7-6 6-2 6-1 victory.

Having beaten Daniil Medvedev in the first round, Norrie will play the winner of the match between Jacob Fearnley and Ugo Humbert.

There could be an all-British battle in round three.

Keys thunders the backhand return at Boulter’s feet and brings up a second match point, this time against serve.

Keys goes big on the next return, crushing the forehand at Boulter who can’t respond on her forehand.

There’s smiles and hugs at the net but that was ruthless victory from Keys over the British No 1.

Boulter ends the run of points against serve and then gets a couple of break point chances! Boulter takes it as Keys goes long on the forehand. So that’s one break back.

“Too good” Boulter says as Keys trashes a return winner past her. Boulter, though, saves a match point.

Keys nets as Boulter wins a rare game. The American will look to serve it out next.

I make that 12 points in a row on serve for Madison Keys in the second set. She’s now just one game away from the third round.

A second break for Keys. Boulter coughed up another double fault on 30-30, then Keys stepped in to flatten the forehand winner onto the baseline. Too good.

Eight points in a row on serve for Keys, with a second consecutive love-hold. The American is serving well but Boulter has struggled on the returns.

Elsewhere, Cameron Norrie has taken the second set against Federico Gomez. This one was more comfortable and Norrie leads 7-6 6-2.

Boulter stops the slide by winning a five-minute game and saving a break point along the way to get the hold. Her fiance Alex De Minaur is in her players’ box court-side offering some encouragement.
