Ali takes over Ba head coach role

Imdad Ali has been appointed as the head coach of Ba football team. This was confirmed by Ba Football Association president Amzad Khan Sunny.

Speaking to Fiji FA Media, Sunny said that was the decision of the Ba FA Board.

“It is the board decision not my personal,” he said

‘The Ba FA Board decided to bring in Ali as he was a more experienced and mature person. We have not fired Master Daniel Krishneel. He will be with the team as an assistant coach,”

“Our aim is to bring back where Ba was before and we have faith in Ali and Krishneel both,”

“Ali has done his B License coaching course and Krishneel will have an opportunity to work and learn from him as well,”

“The Board was disappointed with some of the results during the Digicel Premier League so they opted to bring in the changes,”

“It’s not a new role and environment for Ali as he was with Ba in 2016,”

Ba is third on the DPL standings with 12 points from seven games.

The Men-in Black will host Nasinu at Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba at 3pm this Saturday
